Tyler C's Original Strange Shield

In the 2023-24 school year, novices were challenged to create original artwork in our "JavaScript Graphics Sandbox" (JSGS), with a theme of 'SciFi/Fantasy.'

Novice Tyler C envisioned a conjured shield as depicted by Marvel's Dr. Strange. Tyler didn't disappoint. His original artwork, shown to the right, captured a lot of attention.

So much so that to wrap up the year, we thought: why not animate the shield to make it even more 'strange?' And so we did.

We'll even provide source code!

In the movie 'Dr. Strange,' Steven learns about the mystic arts at Kamar-Taj and accesses their power. You can learn how to harness the power of OOP and animate shapes from the JSGS using classes here at TNT! Eventually, we will provide some of our 'classy' source code below.

Meanwhile we are continuing to 'tweak' the design. Look at these Stage 4 upgrades.

Use the nifty 'Pause' button and/or Click the canvas to pause/resume the animation.
