That's how we felt watching 2 novices play chess on Luke's Chessboard! In relatively little time, he created a fully-functional chessboard (timers still need work!) that students can utilize. It's not currently responsive, but perhaps that will be addressed in the future.
Future stages will hopefully sport working timers. The creativity of the piece graphics itself is stunning! See if you can learn how Luke created the board by studying his source code.
Consider: use the 'resultsPara' to indicate whose's move it is and when a capture is made, it announces details about that capture. Think you could do that in Stage 2?
