Classic Game Show Nostalgia
As we were developing the 'Monte Hall Problem' we were hit by waves of nostalgia about the game show "Let's Make a Deal." You can see an episode here at TNT and gawk at the big game show doors that graced the ending of most episodes.
This app was an attempt to make a set of operational sliding doors that revealed a prize.
Using the Door:
When the app loads, a random door is shown (Marked 1, 2, or 3).
- The 'Open' button reveals a random prize as the doors slide open
- The 'Frame Rate' range slider adjusts the door speed
- The Door Number radio buttons select the door number (or randomize it!)
- The select menu chooses the number of decorative triangles on each door (when the doors are closed)
Play with the app and be sure to play the Monte Hall Game while you're at it.
